Two days to go. And preparations are in full swing ahead of Kim Kardashian's nuptials on Saturday.The 30-year-old reality star was spotted arriving for her final dress fitting at the Vera Wang boutique in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.Waiting inside were her sisters Kourtney, 32, Khloe, 27, Kendall, 15, and Kylie, 14, and the bride's mother Kris Jenner (pictured below with the designer).Mum-of-one Kourtney – acting as a maid of honour along with Khloe – revealed this week that Kim has chosen green gowns for her bridesmaids.
But details of the all-important wedding dress are being kept under wraps.It is thought that Kim will wear two bespoke creations by the veteran couturier on her big day, at a cost of over $30,000.But it remains to be seen whether the TV beauty will be clad in the customary white gown to walk down the aisle.In their wedding invitations, Kim and her future husband, NBA player Kris Humphries, 26, went against the grain by asking guests to wear black and white to their wedding.Kim reportedly said of the decision: "I get really uncomfortable when it's all about me, so I kind of want to share that experience with everyone so that there aren't, all eyes on me. "But TV presenter and invitee Kathie Lee Gifford has said she thinks it might be Kim's way of ensuring a grand entrance.
"Kim knows better than anyone how to stay dramatic and there is no way she would let herself blend in with everyone else at her wedding by wearing a white dress," she told Huffington Post."If I know her, I bet she will wear red or some colour so she pops against everyone else who will be in black or white. "What is known about Kim's big arrival is that she will be escorted by her step-father, Olympic gold medallist Bruce Jenner, who has been married to Kris since 1991 and is father to Kendall and Kylie. Her own father, Robert Kardashian – famed for representing OJ Simpson in his murder trial – passed away in 2003.Meanwhile, work is underway at the California mansion where Kim will marry her basketball player fiancé.Bird's eye photographs show a stage being erected at the $29 million Sotto II Monte – a 10.9 acre-estate in Montecito that will play host to 500 guests, thought to include Jennifer Lopez.
It has been reported that it is the same venue that J-Lo and Ben Affleck were due to be married back in 2003 before breaking off their engagement.
While no expense is being spared on Kim's lavish wedding ceremony, she will have to wait a while for her luxury honeymoon.
The newlyweds are said to be postponing their post-wedding getaway until the summer of 2012 because of work commitments.
