More than 20 years after she first stepped onto a catwalk, Cindy Crawford still knows how to steal the show. The Illinois-born beauty looked sensational as she hit the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival with her husband Randy Gerber.
Cindy, 45, smouldered in a red one-shouldered sequinned Roberto Cavalli embroidered gown, paired with ruby red stilettos, a matching clutch, and silver Chopard jewels. She and her husband of 13-years Randy attended Wednesday's event in support of their friend George Clooney, whose new film, The Ides of March, opened the festival. The political drama is one of 23 movies vying for the coveted Golden Lion award – the highest prize given at the festival, previously awarded to titles including The Wrestler, Brokeback Mountain and Vera Drake.
The jury is headed up this year by Rachel Weisz's director ex Darren Aronofsky, a former Golden Lion winner, whose Oscar-winning thriller Black Swan opened last year's festival. The Ides of March stars George as Democratic presidential candidate Mike Morris, with Ryan Gosling playing his ambitious campaign press secretary, Stephern Meyers. Also appearing in the film are Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Paul Giamatti, as well as Marisa Tomei and Evan Rachel Wood.
