These days no red carpet event is complete without at least one Victoria Beckham creation. At the Venice film festival, the honour fell to Kate Winslet, who was on bombshell form in a sexy but chic taupe number with one of Victoria's signature zip details.
She finished off the outfit with intricate crystal-encrusted sandals and gold earrings. In her excitement, the designer tweeted that Kate looked "beautiful". Also adding to the glamour quotient was Israeli cover girl Bar Refaeli, and a host of Italian sirens including Asia Argento, Valeria Golino and Manuela Arcuri.
Oscar-winning Kate was promoting Carnage, a comedy by Roman Polanski. The film focuses on a power couple, called the Cowans, played by Kate and Inglourious Basterds actor Christoph Waltz who visit the home of another husband and wife – portrayed by Jodie Foster and John C Reilly – after their children are involved in a brawl. What begins as a civilised discussion soon descends into an undignified scrap.
It's the first film for the director since he was freed from house arrest in Switzerland last year over charges of unlawful sex with an underage girl dating back to 1978. Kate defended her decision to work with him, saying: "When Roman Polanski invites you to join him in any project you really don't say no. "I felt extremely fortunate to be included."More stars wearing Victoria Beckham
