The woman – who is indelibly impressed on the public imagination as the epitome of a perfect bridesmaid – has been on stunning wedding form again recently. Pippa Middleton – who turned heads, coming within a hair's breadth of stealing the show when her sister Kate married Prince William – was a guest when her friends Hattie Dawson and Humphrey Bowles wed at St Oswald's Church, Lythe near Whitby on Saturday.
The pretty party planner, who was accompanied by her parents Carole and Michael, was a green goddess in a fern-coloured dress with a bow detail. She finished off her feminine look with a black feathered fascinator and heels. At 28, the girl about town, is at that age when people are settling down – this was her fifth time this yearwatching those close to her exchanging vows.
Just last week, she celebrated the union of university chums, Rose Laing and Jake French. On that occasion, Pippa wore a lace-embellished purple dress by Alice Temperley – the designer of the the second dress to grace her sensational curves at Kate's nuptials. Earlier in the summer, she accompanied her sister to see amateur jockey Sam Waley-Cohen and Bella Ballin tie the knot.
And, in February, Pippa was in the pews as Patrick Valentine and Lady Katie Percy, the sister of Prince William's friend George Percy, walked the aisle. Who knows perhaps her beau Alex Loudon will get the hint, and propose himself soon.
