On her first day abroad after news of her divorce broke, Kim Kardashian was photographed downcast and glum during a promotional event. But a day later the reality star has put her troubles behind her and raised a smile, all thanks to her unconditional loving fans. The 31-year-old, who was accompanied by her sister Khloe, was showered with gifts and welcomed by big cheers from supporters of all ages.
The two sisters are currently in Australia to promote the Kardashian Kollection handbag range. Later on that day, they appeared on an Aussie TV show, where her cheerful mood quickly faded away. The hosts of Australia's Sunrise programme grilled the reality star on how hard she worked to save her brief marriage to Kris Humphries, asking whether she had sought counselling before filing for divorce. "I think when you know so deep in your heart that you just have to listen to your intuition, and follow your heart," Kim replied.
"There's no right or wrong thing to do". "I think what really upsets me most is that there has been from the start so many rumours of money and dollar signs ... and so much of it not being true," she said. When pressed to more directly address accusations the marriage was a sham, the stony-faced star replied: "I think that's all I'm really going to say about the situation right now, and just kind of focus on why we're here in Australia".
