The global socialites who are the future of ethical fashion

November 16, 2011

Acclaimed and envied from Paris to Rome, Ibiza to London, these thorough-bred beauties go to the most exclusive parties and have front row seats at the fashion shows. They are rich, attractive and what that they wear comes straight off the catwalks. However, these girls use their fame and fortune in a positive way, truly conforming to the girl power rule book.

Tatiana Santo Domingo and Dana Alikhani aren't content with lounging on yachts, sipping cocktails.

Instead they have parlayed their love of fashion, access-all-areas lifestyle into a full-time job. They travel the globe together, scouting out some of the most innovative and unique designs in the world for their business The Muzungu Sisters.  Their focus on ethical business practices allows them support local craftsmen, buying handmade garments at a fair price to sell to fashionistas.

Then there are the Clarins sisters. These four beauties born in Paris are the grand daughters of the founder of the Clarins group, and they have burst into the fashion world with force.

Meanwhile, Prisca founded her own American style nail bair in Paris, the first of its kind. Jenna too has focused her thoughts on education as she furthers her passion for photography at college.

Virginia and Claire, 27 and 25 years old respectively, are the daughters of Christian – the worldwide president of the cosmetics company. The twins, Prisca and Jenna, 25 years old, are the daughters of Olivier – the brother of Christian and manager of the family business. These girls are a force to be reckoned with: Virginia has a business degree and Claire has studied architecture with graphic design.
