Seven years after taking part in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Peter Andre is set to make an emotional return to the jungle where he met his wife Katie Price.The 38-year-old singer struck up a special friendship with Katie and after much flirtation the pair started a relationship, marrying the following year and having two children together.
Following their 2009 divorce, Katie Price entered the jungle to find closure but quit after one week after being selected for seven bushtucker trials in a row. Katie's disastrous return to the jungle hasn't put off Peter, who is back in Australia for four days to take part in ITV2 companion show I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Now! Although he is set to appear on the panel, ITV bosses have told him to keep one day free and Peter believes he will be returning to the camp where he met his former wife. "I'm on the ITV2 panel for three days but I'm here for four. They won't tell me what's happening on the other day," he said after landing in Brisbane. "How would I feel about being dropped in the jungle? If it's not to compete, I'm fine with it.
"Why not go in there and do a trial? I won't jump out of a plane but I'll have a go at anything else. "Referring to his first visit to the jungle since his split from Katie, Peter said: "It's been emotional to return. I've been back to Australia since the jungle but never here. "I'm looking forward to it, though. I'd definitely drop in there for a day or two to have some fun. "The last time I came here I was single and I ended up walking out and getting married. This time I'm going to try to stay single."
