Prosecutors in the state of California are seeking $100 million from Doctor Conrad Murray following his conviction for involuntary manslaughter.In a sentencing memorandum delivered to Judge Michael Pastor in advance of a November 29 hearing, lawyers have asked that the physician pay the amount in damages to Michael Jackson's children.
Documents filed by the District Attorney say Prince Michael, 14, 13-year-old Paris and Prince Michael II – aka Blanket – should be paid restitution for funeral expenses and lost profits. Low-risk prison inmates are sent to county jails, where inmates are being released early, and the doctor may also be eligible for house arrest. Sentencing will take place on Tuesday.
