He went through the I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! experience back in 2004, where he met ex-wife Katie Price. And following his return, he found himself reminiscing.
He told campmates that it's “pretty amazing” that he met Katie Price, his future wife and mother of his children in the jungle. Asked how he had fallen for the glamour model, he said: “At first I thought she was playing me about. I thought I would never flirt in the jungle. "You don't want to show feelings but you can't help it. We had a bit of banter then she started hinting there might be more between us. It was devastating her leaving and then I heard her shout from the bridge, 'Pete, Pete, I love you'." He went on to reveal his feelings for his ex-wife and how coming back to the jungle has affected him. “I loved Katie more than I loved anyone in my life, we had kids, a marriage,” he told The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright.
“You never lose that, yeah, being here is spooking me out.” The popstar then went on to play Agony Uncle, offering advice to fellow campmate Mark. "So Mark if you have any feelings for Emily don't hide them because I have the best children in the world," he said, referring to the TOWIE star's brief romance with former jungle mate Emily Scott. He later enjoyed a party thrown on his behalf, sipping champagne and relaxing in a hot tub with Coronation Street star Antony Cotton, McFly member Dougie and former jockey Willie Carson.Meanwhile, Emily and Benidorm actress Crissy Rock are the latest contestants to leave the show.The glamour model isn't feeling down in the dumps about her early departure: "I feel amazing to be out. I've had the most incredible time in there. "I wanted to stay in as long as possible, but I'm proud of myself and proud of everyone in there."
