Misha B's dream is over as she is voted off 'X Factor'

December 5, 2011

Misha Bryan's X Factor dream is over after she found herself with the least public votes yet again.

The 19-year-old was sent home, securing places in next week's final at Wembley Arena for Marcus Collins, Amelia Lily and girl band Little Mix.

The semi-final, which featured performances from judge Kelly Rowland and teen star Justin Bieber, came as the X Factor finalists topped the UK chart with a cover of the 1970s classic Wishing On A Star.

Misha looked unsurprised as presenter Dermot O'Leary announced the result and didn't shed a tear. "I just want to say thank you to everyone here at the X Factor for making my dreams a reality," she said.

She described Kelly as "the best mentor in the world" and thanked her family and everyone at home for their support, adding: "I love you and thank you so much."

Misha was favourite to be voted off on Saturday night, with odds of just 25-1 from Coral. She sang Motown classic Dancing In The Street and Pink's hit Perfect in a bid to secure her place in the final.

Little Mix are the bookies favourites to win the ITV1 competition at 6-4 favourites, with Marcus second favourite at 7-4 and Amelia's odds at 3-1.

The semi-final result was predicted by judge Gary Barlow on Saturday, who told Misha she would not win the competition because of allegations made about her off-stage behaviour by his fellow judges.

The Take That star said comments made earlier in the series by panellists Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh had damaged Misha's chances of winning the reality show.

In October Tulisa accused Misha of being "mean" to other contestants. Louis went further by suggesting she had been a "bully", but later apologised to viewers.
