Evergreen beauty Jane Fonda looks as fantastic as she did in her heyday. The fitness queen once again donned her famous leotard for an appearance on US TV promoting her a new workout video aimed at older age groups.
Now 73, Jane inspired a whole generation of viewers to get active in their own homes in the Eighties with her original videos. The actress was also promoting her book Prime Time: Love, Health, Sex, Fitness, Friendship, Spirit — Making the Most of all of Your Life. Jane wants to encourage people her age to lead more active lifestyles.
"Its less about trying to look a certain way as being about being able to get up and down out of a chair, carry your grandkids, look over your shoulder whilst your backing down a driveway. "You know every day life things. “You want to stay as independent as you can. And you can maintain muscle mass, make strong bones, make a healthy heart. “By staying physically active you can… postpone Alzheimer’s and things like that.”
