Sinead O'Connor calls off her fourth divorce

Sinead O'Connor has called off her divorce from her fourth husband. The Nothing Compares 2 U singer married Barry Herridge in Las Vegas in early December, but the couple separated after just 16 days.Now Sinead, 45, has announced that the couple are back together.

The mother of four wrote: "Guess who had a mad love making affair with her own husband last night? Yay!!! we decided to be boyfriend and girlfriend again and stay married.

"But we did rush so we gonna return to boyfriend girlfriend and be sickeningly happy and go counselling and move in... like regular people... but stay married and we all in love... so me all happy!! me love me hubby... he love me".

Sinead previously said that the marriage was "kyboshed by the behaviour of certain people in my husband's life" and that she ended their union to set him "free". The Irish songstress has had a colourful life. She first became pregnant, at 20. She had a son, Jake, and married his father, a musician named John Reynolds. After they broke up, she began a relationship with political journalist John Waters, the father of her second child, Roisin, now 16.

Sinead's next marriage in 2002 was to journalist Nick Sommerlad. Her third child, eight-year-old Shane, was with another singer, Donal Lunny. "Shane is a complete blessing – the most incredible child on earth. Well, they all are," she once told the Scotsman. Yeshua, her five-year-old, is the result of a romance with American businessman Frank Bonadio.
