Jake Gyllenhaal, Nicole Kidman and former co-star Mila Kunis are just some of the celebs honouring the stars at the glitzy event. The show, led by George Clooney and Ryan Gosling nominations, will be hosted by Ricky Gervais for the third time.

The comedian left some wondering if he would be back after his performance last year, when he made pointed jabs at Hollywood stars and the HFPA, which puts on the annual ceremony. But he was asked back by the producers.

Elton John, who is nominated for his song from the film Gnomeo & Juliet, has confessed he's prepared to get a kicking from the comedian. "I'll probably get the p*** taken out of me, but it's fine with me. I'm British. I can take it." Check out Hello!
