The diva who put Bootylicious in the dictionary makes her first post-baby appearance looking stunning. Just weeks after giving birth to her first child, Beyonce stepped out to support husband Jay-Z at a concert in New York's Carnegie Hall.
Always a beautiful woman, the singer seemed to be glowing with extra vitality after welcoming daughter Blue Ivy.
The yummy mummy didn't seem to have hurried to lose the baby weight, and was instead confidently showing off her fuller figure in a form-fitting Alice Temperly dress. She accessorized with gold jewelry, an Alexander McQueen clutch, and sparkly Louboutins. But her biggest assets were her proud smile and fierce walk.
Her husband performed more than two dozen hits at the famed venue, backed by an orchestra of 30-plus musicians. Jay-Z got a little emotional during the song Glory, about the couple's one-month-old. After the song, he said: "That was tough." Fellow New Yorkers Alicia Keys and Nas joined Jay-Z on stage.
Ticket sales from the Carnegie Hall shows will benefit the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation, which was established in his real name, and the United Way of New York City. Jay-Z is the second hip-hop act to perform at the venue. Wyclef Jean did so in 2001.
