Proud mama Hilary Duff shares intimate family portrait

Cuddling her little bundle of joy, Hilary Duff looks every inch the proud mama in a black and white family portrait.The singer posted the snap of herself with baby Luca Cruz and her husband Mike Comrie on her Twitter account.

It's just one of many the 24-year-old has been sharing over the past few weeks while she adjusts to being a first time mum. After showing off her son's tiny toes, Hilary posted a few photos showing his cute little face for the first time. She posted: "Oh no! The flood gates have opened! Proud mamma on the loose! I can't help myself." The star's joy at motherhood is evident in many of her tweets. "No better feeling that a peaceful baby sleeping on your chest...wonder what he's dreaming about? #happymommy," reads one of the latest comments.

Hilary also used the micro blogging site to thank her frind Jessica Alba for sending a box full of goodies for the new arrival. "Thanks @honest @jessicaalba for the box of goodies for Luca!" she wrote. "The whole line looks amazing! Excited to try everything." The Fantastic Four actress gifted items from her eco-friendly baby product line The Honest Company.Hilary and her former ice hockey pro husband welcomed little Luca on March 23. Hilary tweeted her fans after she gave birth saying: "Welcome to the World Luca Cruz Comrie! Tuesday evening, we became proud parents of a healthy 7 pound 6 ounce beautiful boy."
