With her beautiful twin girls tucked up safely at home, Sarah Jessica Parker spent Tuesday evening with her two favourite guys. The actress and her son James Wilkie stepped out together to attend the opening of Matthew Broderick’s new play, Nice Work If You Can Get It, in New York. Clearly proud of her husband of 15 years, Sarah leaned in for a big kiss as the family posed together on the red carpet.
And in the centre of the touching scene was little James Wilkie - his arms wrapped tightly around his dad’s waist.
Earlier in the evening, Sarah, 47, was seen showering her son with affection as they waited in the theatre for Matthew.
The nine-year-old very nearly stole the show from his fashionista mother at the opening, looking dapper in a light grey tuxedo and bowtie. His ensemble perfectly complemented mum Sarah, who looked stunning in an ankle-length ivory gown and a matching coat with an oversized flower pinned to her lapel.
The stylish pair were among those enjoying the premiere of the Broadway musical comedy, which is based on the music of George and Ira Gershwin. Other famous faces stepping out for the play included Mad Men actor Jon Hamm and his long-term love Jennifer Westfeldt.Chelsea Clinton also attended with her husband Marc Mezvinsky.
