John Travolta denies 'absurd and ridiculous' masseur harassment claims

May 9, 2012

A lawyer for John Travolta has categorically denied claims of sexual harassment made anonymously by two masseurs against the star, calling them "absurd and fictional". A second plaintiff came forward in the lawsuit against the Pulp Fiction actor, which was filed on Friday.

Both the original plaintiff – also an anonymous masseur – and the second one accuse John of improper behaviour during a private massage session. They are seeking $2 million in damages each.

John's lawyer, Marty Singer, told US publication People: "This second 'anonymous' claim is just as absurd and ridiculous as the first one." She said that the lawyer who is representing both the accusers "was notified that his first client's claims were totally false and fabricated, since our client was not in LA when anonymous 'Doe #1' claims he interacted with John Travolta".

She adds: "Our client will be fully vindicated in court on both of these absurd and fictional claims." Pasadena, California, attorney Okorie Okorochatells told the publication his clients want to remain anonymous because "the public passes judgment on sexual harassment accusers and people who file lawsuits in general".

Mr. Okorocha says he has "so much evidence" to support the claims against the Hollywood star, including witnesses and photos of the actor in Atlanta at the time the second incident is alleged to have taken place.
