The upset caused by allegations against John Travolta has clearly not affected his family life. Kelly Preston showed that the couple are as close as ever when she shared a sentimental video that the Pulp Fiction star made her as a Mother's Day present.
"My husband, Johnny, made his directorial debut creating a special Mother's Day video for me," wrote the 49-year-old, posting the clip on her website. "I was so moved and loved it so much that I wanted to share it with all of you." The four-minute video is made up of intimate photos from the couple's family album.
Set to the tune of Barbara Streisand’s That Face, the four-minute compilation features snaps of the pair on their 1991 wedding day and more recent photos with their new baby Benjamin, one, and big sister Ella Bleu, 12.
There are also several snaps of Jett, their son who died, aged 16, after suffering a seizure while the family were on holiday in the Bahamas. It starts with a black and white picture of John, featuring the words: "From me to you" and ends with "Happy Mother's Day" on a backdrop of flowers. As Kelly shared the touching clip, it emerged that both the sexual battery cases against John have been dropped.
Two masseurs had made claims the Hollywood star acted inappropriately during separate massage sessions.
The first had been discredited when he admitted to making a mistake about the date which he says the alleged incident took place.
He now intends to file his claims in a different court represented by a new lawyer, Gloria Allred. The second plaintiff has also employed Ms Allred – a Philadelphia-born attorney who takes high-profile cases, frequently involving sexual harassment claims against well-known figures. He has withdrawn his claims and also intends to start proceedings in a different court at a later date.
