Rocc' n roll: Madonna's son takes centre stage on opening night

As childcare arrangements go, it was certainly creative. Busy working mum Madonna gave son Rocco a starring role as she kicked off her MDNA tour in Tel Aviv.

And the eleven-year old did her proud, boogying his way through the show-stopping concert, clearly loving every minute.

Although he's the boss' son, there was no special treatment for Rocco who whizzed through three costume changes – one of which included a priest's smock.

He grooved alongside his mum as she belted out her hits for the ecstatic crowd. Madonna recently revealed that the youngster – whose dad is film director Guy Ritchie – loves to let his feet do the talking.

 When asked if she teaches him her dance moves, she said: "No, he shows them to me. But I'm pretty bad. My son loves breakdance!" There was no sign of Rocco's big sister Lourdes. Her turn in the spotlight may have been revoked after she was snapped smoking back in March. The inauguration to Madonna's ninth jaunt around the world went down a storm with the 35,000 strong-crowd.
