'Grandma's here!': Paris Jackson's joy as family are reunited

July 27, 2012

Michael Jackson's teenage daughter Paris has confirmed that she is now back with beloved family matriarch Katherine Jackson. "Grandma's here! Thank you God," she wrote on Twitter before adding: "Such a long crazy week. I needed that sleep. "Her joy comes after days of Jackson family turmoil during which the children were appointed a new guardian because their grandmother was thought to be missing.

Although Katherine was later located safely in Arizona, Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff temporarily suspended her from the role and placed the children in the care of the late singer's nephew Tito Joseph 'TJ' Jackson. Speaking to ABC News, 82-year-old Katherine said she was hurt by the court ruling saying: "I am devastated that while I've been away, that my children, my grandchildren, have been taken away from me, and I'm coming home to see about that. "Her grandson Prince Michael,15, echoed her frustration on Twitter.

"As long as I can remember my dad had repeatedly warned me of certain people and their ways," he wrote.

"Although I am happy my grandma was returned, after speaking with her I realised how misguided and how badly she was lied to. I'm really angry and hurt." The custody battle comes as the music legend's siblings have questioned how his fortune is being managed. When the King of Pop died in 2009 aged 50, he left an estimated $500 million fortune in a family trust for his mother and three children. He left nothing to his father or siblings, who are now contesting the will, suggesting it may have been "falsified".
