After the very public breakdown of his relationship with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson could be forgiven for wanting to hide himself away. But although the actor is currently nursing his broken heart at Reese Witherspoon's California estate, he's preparing to make a return to the public eye.
In a few short weeks, Robert will show up to support his new film Cosmopolis. "Cosmopolis is a film that Robert is very proud of and looks forward to supporting," his representative said on Wednesday. "No confirmed engagements have been cancelled. Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate."
The Twilight star will attend the New York premiere of the David Cronenberg movie and answer questions in a press event the next day. According to reports, Robert is speaking to Kristen again, but he won't forgive her any time soon. His girlfriend of four years admitted to a "momentary indiscretion" with the director of her latest film. Rupert Sanders is married to British Vogue model Liberty Ross, who is the mother of his two children.
He said shortly after that he hoped his wife could forgive him. "'I love (my family) with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together." Kristen also asked for forgiveness. "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected," the actress said. "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardised the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
