When Jack Osbourne was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis he came out fighting, telling HELLO!: "Adapt and overcome is my new motto. "True to his word, the brave new dad was all smiles on a night out with his fiancée Lisa Stelly, 26, and parents Sharon and Ozzy. The family were attending the star-studded Total Recall premiere together in Los Angeles, where they mingled with celebrities such as Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale.
Jack and Lisa, both 26, had left their newborn daughter Pearl at home for a rare night off. It was a deserved break in a year that has seen them run the gauntlet of emotions. When they welcomed their little girl Jack said: "The moment I saw her I felt more love than I'd ever felt for anything. It was the weirdest, most overwhelming thing."
First-time grandmother Sharon, 59, was equally proud. "It's incredible to see Jack holding his baby girl, walking around so confidently," she said. However, just weeks later the new family were stunned when Jack received his devastating diagnosis of multiple sclerosis – an incurable autoimmune disease that attacks the brain and central nervous system. "The timing was so bad", he told HELLO!. "I'd just had a baby, work was going great… I kept thinking: 'Why now?' "While I was waiting for the final results, I got really, really angry. Then I got really sad for about two days, and after that I realised: 'Being angry and upset is not going to do anything at this point, if anything it's only going to make it worse…'"
