They are said to have been apart since reports emerged of an affair. But Liberty Ross and her estranged husband Rupert Sanders were spotted together again this week. The Snow White and the Huntsman director, who faces claims he had a fling with Kristen Stewart, was seen with the mother of his children emerging from a building in Beverly Hills.
The pair – who are parents to Skyler, seven and five-year-old Tennyson – were accompanied by a grey-haired man thought to be Liberty's lawyer. He ushered the model into a waiting car, leaving Rupert standing on the sidewalk. Liberty, who was glammed up in a short white skirt and an animal print jacket and towering heels, then went on to have lunch at upmarket Cecconi's restaurant on Melrose Avenue.
The 33-year-old, who was not wearing her wedding ring, looked relaxed and happy as she left the establishment with her dining companion – handsome fashion editor and stylist Simon Robins. Rupert, who has been pictured with his wedding band still on, found himself at the centre of a media storm after pictures emerged of him kissing Twilight star Kristen.
He said shortly after that he hoped his wife could forgive him. "'I love (my family) with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together," said the director, whose involvement in the Snow White and the Huntsman sequel is now in doubt.
Kristen also made a public apology to her boyfriend Robert Pattinson. "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected," the actress said. "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardised the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
