Anticipation is running high as X Factor is ready to hit screens with a new round of drama and divas– and the latest series looks set to be a very glamorous affair. The show's judges – Gary Barlow, Nicole Scherzinger, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh – will be jetting across Britain to find the voices of the future.

In a glossy promotional shot, the four mentors are seen strutting their stuff in front of the plane they will use to travel to auditions. Newcomer Nicole replaces Kelly Rowland from last year's show. The Pussycat Doll and girlfriend of Lewis Hamilton will be hoping her industry experience can guide her acts to success. She will go up against reigning champion Tulisa, who won last year with her group Little Mix.

Despite having to defend her title as top mentor, the British star insists she's not feeling the pressure any more than the other judges. "Obviously it was fantastic to win last year, but I'm coming back with a whole new category, so I am going to work just as hard with all my new acts. The pressure is on all of us to do our best each week," she said. Meanwhile, brave Gary Barlow continues to honour his work commitments following the loss of his stillborn daughter, Poppy. The pop titan is upbeat about this year's show, saying: "The standard has definitely gone up a few notches. I think the audience is going to love it."
