Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have holidayed in exotic locations across the globe, however this year the Mr and Mrs Smith stars are heading to the Lake District for a summer break.Brad and Angelina will take their six children, Maddox, 11, Pax, eight, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, six and four-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne to a relaxing boathouse on Lake Windermere.
The break comes as Angelina is filming in London for her latest movie Maleficent, which also features a cameo from her youngest daughter Vivienne.A source told the Daily Mirror: "Originally, the film was supposed to be shooting near the Lakes, but relocated to a more convenient spot close to Pinewood studios. "They'd already booked a few days off though, and they didn't want the kids to miss out on their trip up to the Lakes, so they decided to go anyway."
The source added that "Brad has rented out an entire boathouse, and the couple have been looking up some local restaurants to dine at whilst there. They're also planning a day of quad biking for the kids – and Brad. "This is not the first holiday that the family have had this summer, they recently returned from spending the Bank Holiday weekend at the seaside town of Le Touquet in northern France.
Brad, 48, and Angelina, 37, who are rumoured to be tying the knot this summer after seven years together, were seen smiling as they visited a small toy shop called Culture Kid, reportedly spending £200 on gifts for their children.
The shop's owners were evidently delighted with the sudden attention and took to their Facebook page to praise the family, saying: "Absolutely charming and sweet family!! Thanks for the visit!"
