Dispelling rumours that their relationship is in trouble, Cristiano Ronaldo and Irina Shayk put on a dazzling display at the UEFA Gala in Monaco.
The football superstar and his model girlfriend attended a ceremony which hands out an award to the best player in Europe.
The 27-year-old Real Madrid star was recently the subject of media interest after a Portuguese publication printed a photograph of him with a female TV presenter.Cristiano, who is father to two-year-old Cristiano Jr, reacted by posting on his Facebook and Twitter pages that the photograph was actually several years old.Irina, who has been with Cristiano since 2010, enjoys a close relationship with the footballer's son and the family were recently pictured holidaying on a yacht in St Tropez.
Sadly for the striker his name wasn't at the top of the list on the night, as UEFA President Michel Platini French announced the winner .Cristiano found it difficult to hide his disappointment as Barcelona's Andres Iniesta proudly accepted the presigious best player award, but was on stage to congratulate the midfielder along with fellow nominee Lionel Messi, who won the award in 2011.
