With designer sunglasses at the ready and a cute tote dangling from her hand, Pippa Middleton looked ace as she watched the US Open. The centrepiece of her look was a figure-hugging block colour dress, and the brunette's chic Park Avenue style was as eye-catching as the action on the court.

With her fashion forward outfit taken care of, Pippa enjoyed the tennis with a pro guiding her through the action. Her equally stylish companion was rising US star Spencer Vegosen, 24. An accomplished academic fluent in Mandarin, Japanese and Spanish, Spencer has the brains to match his physical prowess and was the perfect match for Britain's most eligible lady.  The pair laughed and chatted their way through the women's singles quarter final match between Samantha Stosur of Australia and Belarus' Victoria Azarenka. An afternoon of sport was just the latest itinerary of Pippa's action-packed New York holiday. Just days before, she had enjoyed some time in the Hamptons as a guest of hotel tycoon Andre Balazs. Andre, 55, lavished attention on the future Queen's sister, flying her into the beachside resort on his private sea plane and accommodating her at his plush Sunset Beach boutique hotel on Shelter Island.

The friends challenged each other to a fun game of ping pong, before Andre dipped into his reported £300 million fortune to treat his guest to dinner. According to the Daily Mail, an onlooker said: "They didn't seem like a couple but there was a lot of flirting going on and when dinner ended he gave her a friendly European-style double kiss on the cheek." Ms Middleton is making the most of her trip to the East Coast of America before her work schedule begins to heat up. Pippa recently negotiated a six-figure deal for her debut publication, Celebrate: A Year of Festivities for Families and Friends, and will be promoting the book during its October release.
