After five years of dating, Martine McCutcheon became Mrs Jack McManus in a joyous Italian ceremony at the weekend. The former EastEnders star married her dreamy musician boyfriend in an exclusive location on Lake Como, where George Clooney has a villa.Martine, 36, announced the happy news to fans on her Twitter page.
She wrote: "Hello all! I've been quiet as I've been having the best few days of my life in Italy marrying @jackmcmanus. I'm so happy to be Mrs McManus! x." The wedding comes nine months after Jack, 28, proposed at Christmas by going down on bended knee besides the River Thames in London as snow fell all around them.
In the only interview the couple have ever given together, the raven haired beauty previously told HELLO! of her contentment with her curly-haired music man. She said: "With Jack, I feel completely loved. In other relationships I've had to apologise for elements of who I am – 'Sorry about the press,' or, 'Sorry it's not glamorous 24/7'."
"With Jack, there's no need for me to apologise or compromise." He was equally smitten, saying: "I definitely felt something very strong instantly. There was something really magnetic about her. Not just looks wise, although of course she's beautiful but I was so drawn to her."
