Bruce Springsteen certainly knows how to put on a show. But 'The Boss', as he is known to his fans, has almost been upstaged in some of his recent concerts.The Born In The USA singer has had some help from pint sized followers, sharing microphone time with children at some of his concerts in Spain.
In Madrid, six-year-old Pablo Planells gave it his all, singing the chorus for Waiting on a Sunny Day before the singer lifted him up on his shoulders to wave to the cheering crowd. During the same song in San Sebastian, Bruce spotted a little boy sitting on his mum's shoulders at the front of the crowd. He pulled the four-year-old youngster onto the stage, and ended up having to chase him down when the excited youngster went running off towards his backing band. The little boy was soon back in the spotlight, however, singing along to the music – much to the delight of the audience. Bruce clearly loves sharing the stage with the next generation of fans.
But one youngster he's not likely to be duetting with at any of his concerts is his own daughter Jessica. The 20-year-old hasn't decided to follow her famous dad into the world of music, instead taking up equestrianism.
Jessica has competed internationally at showjumping events, and has just stepped up her game by purchasing a horse that won gold at the London 2012 Olympics. Ten-year-old gelding Murka's Vindicat W triumphed for Hampshire-based Peter Charles at Greenwich park six weeks ago.
