"Roger Moore was great, too. When he was asked to name his favourite Strictly dancer, he replied, ‘My wife likes Anton [du Beke], but I prefer that John McEnroe-type character, Brendan.’ That was a great compliment. ”It’s just one of the hundreds of accolades the professional dancer has received during his eight-year tenure on the celebrity dance contest, during which he has partnered with some of the show’s most glamorous contestants, including Natasha Kaplinsky, Kelly Brook, Lisa Snowdon, Michelle Williams and Jo Wood.
In this series, the tenth, he is paired with Olympic cycling champion Victoria Pendleton and has high hopes of a gold-winning performance.
