Cheryl Cole's boyfriend Tre Holloway should have been by her side as she embarked on her first solo arena tour. Sadly, the dancer had to pull out after breaking his leg shortly before the curtain went up. Cheryl powered on with A Million Lights' opening night at the Belfast Odyssey Arena. Clad in a shimmering gold jumpsuit, the brunette treated her delighted audience to chart stompers like Call My Name and Fight For This Love.
There was even a nod to her Girls Aloud bandmates with the group's hits Biology and Love Machine peppering the set. Cheryl's show naturally included a dizzying array of costume changes courtesy of designer Renelou Padora. After coming off stage, the triumphant singer took her bow. "BELFAST !!! Thank you so much for being there and supporting me on my first night. You were amazing .. I Love you !" she tweeted.
A tour insider told the Daily Mail: "She was really happy with how it went and even had some drinks with the whole crew afterwards in her dressing room." The celebrations no doubt continued later on with dancer boyfriend Tre, whom Cheryl first met in 2010 when he took part in one of her numbers on the live X Factor shows. Romance is said to have blossomed around her June 30 birthday, when Tre was a guest at her Las Vegas birthday party. She recently danced with the handsome American on Jonathan Ross' chat show, but was coy when asked about the romance. "I am having a lot of fun right now and I'm a very happy person," was all she would say.
