Three years after losing her adored husband, the widow of Dirty Dancing star Patrick Swayze has found a reason to smile again. Lisa Niemi is stepping out with a wealthy Florida-based jeweller. "It's new, and they're taking it slow," says her representative. The man who has put a spring in her step is Albert DePrisco, whom she apparently met at her birthday party in May when they were introduced by a mutual friend.
A trained pilot, she has reportedly been flying her Beechcraft twin-engine plane into a local Florida airport for dates with her new man. Shortly after losing her husband of 34 years to cancer, Lisa, said she was feeling hopeful about the future. She told a US magazine: "I know I'm stronger now. The fact that I've had some good days definitely gives me hope that I can have more. "If anyone deserves good days it's the elegant blonde, who was not only Patrick's life partner but his close collaborator.
Lisa, a dancer and coreographer, helped the Hollywood hunk create his iconic scenes in the dance movie. The former childhood sweethearts also faced his illness together on the California ranch they bought for raising horses. And now at the of 56, Lisa has been given the possiblity of starting again.
