Christmas came early for this LA Galaxy fan as David Beckham handed his shirt to her following the game on Saturday. Although David's team had been defeated 2-1 by Real Salt Lake, the footballer was still happy enough to meet his eager audience.
Sitting in the front row was a blonde supporter who was handed the number 23 shirt by the 37-year-old star, who was then pulled in for a hug.The father-of-four then took his time to sign books and pose for children who were supporting him from the stands.David, who recently renewed with LA Galaxy for another two years, is also concentrating on his other job, designing underwear for H&M.
The star was spotted modeling his new underwear line at a photoshoot in Beverly Hills last week, when a bus full of tourists passed by.The wide-eyed onlookers took pictures of the football star in his briefs while he tried to duck into the bushes. However, he did see the funny side and was seen smiling in many of the candid snaps. Following in the footsteps of his fashion designer wife Victoria, David made his independent foray into the world of fashion at the beginning of the year. "The underwear is totally my designs, and are things that I like to wear," he told The Sun.
"Working with a team has always been a key part of my life and I found that to be the same when developing this range. "Collectively with my design team we spent time working on the feel, fit and style to ensure the product is not only something I would wear but one which I would be proud to put my name to. "I always want to challenge myself and this was such a rewarding experience for me. I'm very happy with the end result and I hope H&M's male customers will be as excited as I am."
