A host of Whitney Houston fans and celebrities have gathered together to celebrate the talent of the late singer in a Grammy show tribute at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Britney Spears, LL Cool J and Halle Berry presented the live showcase, which will be broadcast on television on November 13. The celebrity fans of the late star shared their own personal journey with the singer onstage. Halle declared that she "was one of those little girls who then became a woman who never ever, ever, stopped loving Whitney Houston." Britney's cover of the songstress' I Have Nothing secured her the record deal which kick-started her career.

As well as uncovering exclusive footage of the singer, the show included performances from American Idol sensation Jennifer Hudson, who performed a medley of the star's greatest hits, and Usher, who sang I Believe In You And Me, which was released for Whitney's film The Preacher's Wife.

Daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown also attended the live event alongside record label executive Clive Davis, who discovered the I Will Always Love You singer.

Whitney died on February 11 on the eve of the Grammy awards. Her death was revealed to be caused by accidental drowning induced by heart disease and substance abuse.
