Miley Cyrus recently spoke about how much she is enjoying her engagement to Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, saying: "I don't really care about the wedding or the piece of paper as much as I do the promise we've made to each other,". Now though, the Disney star's languid demeanour is bubbling over into excitement as it's revealed that Miley may have not one – but three – weddings. According to Star magazine, Miley and hunky Antipodean Liam are planning a hat trick of nuptials to cover all their international interests.

The couple are said to be lining up ceremonies in Los Angeles, Miley's native Tennessee and Liam's corner of the world in Melbourne, Australia. Naturally, three dresses will be required for such lavish proceedings and the bride-to-be is working closely with various designers to make her picture perfect three times over. Guests will certainly include Liam's brother Chris, known to the movie going public as Thor, and his striking Spanish wife Elsa Pataky. The pair recently welcomed their first child and are now parents of a little girl, named India.  Since becoming engaged, Miley has frequently expressed how content she is in her relationship, saying: "Neither of us is super jealous. We know each other and would never do anything to hurt each other."

Liam – who met his fiancée while on set of the 2010 romance The Last Song – has demonstrated his affection with with an  impressive 3.5-carat cushion-cut diamond ring. Neil Lane jewellers, who made the sparkler, said the couple came to him wanting "something unusual… something really beautiful and romantic". That "something beautiful" was handcrafted in 18-karat gold with intricately carved diamond floral motifs in an art nouveau pattern. Its centre stone is a real talking point – an antique dating back to the late 19th century.  "It was hand-cut around 1880 or 1890 and it's unique and in its original form," Neil told People. "At that time no two diamonds were alike, as they were all hand-cut, so it's fascinating to look at because it hasn't been re-cut to look contemporary over the years. I find that really romantic." Although Miley is preparing to wed at the tender age of 19, her nearest and dearest couldn't be happier nor more supportive. Her dad, singer Billy Ray Cyrus, is particularly thrilled about his daughter's engagement. He posted on Twitter: "All I ever hoped for as a daddy was to see my kids reach their dreams. To find happiness…peace of mind …and someday know… true love." The day after her exciting engagement news, Miley Cyrus left no doubt her father's wishes were being fulfilled. "I feel like my dreams are coming true," she tweeted.
