'I'm in tears': Eva Longoria leads stars celebrating Barack Obama's win

 The look on her face said it all - jubilant Barack Obama supporter Eva Longoria couldn't have been any happier with the results of the US presidential election. Her arms raised high in the air, and a look of pure joy on her face, the Desperate Housewife celebrated the Democratic party candidate's second term in the White House with friends. "Barack Obama re-elected as 44th President of the USA!!!! Go @BarackObama!!!! Me and my friends celebrating! I'm on tears (sic)! Moving the country forward!!! Obama!!!" She also wrote: "We did it!!! Obama re-elected!!!!! Yes!! Yes We Can!"

 The actress was just one of several stars celebrating via social network Twitter. Cher, who appeared in a campaign video wrote: "I'm so happy! This is one of the great nites (sic) of my life !!!! Tears r streaming down my face! women we have a champion!!!" Lady Gaga first tweeted a series of random digits before adding: " I JUST GOT OFF STAGE IN COLUMBIA!! CONGRATULATIONS MR. PRESIDENT @BarackObama We are so proud to be American tonight! YES!!! YES! YES!!"

 Katy Perry was also thrilled. The Firework singer, who on election day posted a picture of her and the president with her grandmother wrote: "The people have the power! Proud to stand by you for 4 more years."
