Pop star Limahl is the second contestant to be evicted from I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! after eight days in the jungle. The Eighties singer told the other celebrities: "I'm really glad, I'll be thinking of you," after he and Made In Chelsea star Hugo Taylor were told that it was one of them leaving the show. "It's a complete surprise, it was the gay vote...what happened?" Limahl said after his eviction. He said his time in the jungle was a test of what he could handle. "You're away from your home comforts, being so far away from your loved ones and the test of the other personalities. That was the biggest test really.

"It's all about lack of food, lack of nutrition, loss of everything and thrown into this mix of personalities who are basically strangers. The hunger is palpable every day." Limahl said he got on with fellow contestant and celebrity chef Rosemary Shrager despite others finding her bossy. "I loved her, I mean what gay man doesn't like camp large ladies?" he said.He described outspoken contestant and darts champion Eric Bristow as a "blunt instrument". "I actually like Eric, he's very funny and he kept things lively for me, but some people don't like him," he said.Earlier in the show Limahl said he felt lonely in the jungle and that he wasn't fitting in with the other celebrities. "No one is talking to me, I feel a bit isolated," he said, weeping. "I've been flying through this and I'm a happy person, what happens is you start doubting yourself. Your self confidence goes down and you think there's something wrong with me, I don't fit in. "Former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts became the hero on Thursday night after collecting stars among containers of bugs and snakes and winning the group a Thanksgiving dinner.

Meanwhile, Brian Conley, who left the show earlier this week due to illness, has revealed he is back on "top form".The 51-year-old entertainer had to leave the show - filmed in the Australian jungle - for what ITV said were "medical reasons".No further details about his illness were issued, but he was taken to hospital and later released. Brian issued a statement, which said: "I want everyone to know that I'm back on top form, fighting fit and delighted to be back with my family. I've read all the messages sent to my Twitter account and have been genuinely touched by all the kind words and good wishes. "I really want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I'll be back soon making you all laugh."
