Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly has stepped back in time for a spectacular HELLO! fashion shoot. The BBC presenter was transformed into a 1950's-style screen goddess by the magazine. And she revealed that she tried to persuade husband Vernon Kay to take part in this year's Strictly Come Dancing Chrsitmas special. "Unfortunately, he's doing the All Star Family Fortunes Christmas special on the same day. It's a shame because he really can move. He's got rhythm and he throws himself into things wholeheartedly, almost compulsively, actually."
Tess, 43, also spoke frankly about the time she showed off more bust than she meant to – saying she will make sure it is the last time it happens. On one episode she wore a red Suzanne Neville gown which showed off cleavage than she had planned. She said: "The one time I decide to get them out and look what happens. Though, to be fair, I didn't realize they were 'out' to that extent until after the show. What happened, was the bra I had on didn't fit the dress, so I wore one of those designs that has gel at the sides, which kind of pushes you up and, I guess, gives you an extra couple of cup sizes." "It wasn't until I saw myself on Strictly's sister show, It Takes Two, that I went 'oh my God. Why did nobody tell me about the boobs?' I don't actually show a lot of cleavage – it' not in my comfort zone – that'll be the first and last time. "The people at home don't want to see that. It's distracting."
Tess is now hping that she will be able to entice Zara Phillips onto the dancefloor. She says: "I think she'd be really committed and people would get behind her. If she says yes, that would be fantastic." See the full interview in HELLO! Magazine on sale now.
