Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton make up for lost time with cinema date

December 11, 2012

Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton made up for lost time on Monday night as they attended the London premiere of Tom Cruise's new film Jack Reacher. The loved-up couple have been very busy in the last months, Nicole as a judge on X Factor and Lewis tied up with the Formula 1 championship, but both have finished their commitments for the year and are making the most of their free time together. The former Pussycat Doll glammed up for the occasion, looking elegant in a black Zeynep Tosun gown with satin panels and quilted detail. The 34-year-old singer completed her look with a pair of black peep toe heels and a snake-print clutch bag.

Formula 1 ace Lewis, on the other hand, kept it casual as he threw on a jacket with khaki colour detail over his black ensemble.

Whilst posing for photographers, the pair seemed very much in love and were seen gazing into each other's eyes. At one point, Lewis put his jacket over Nicole's shoulder to help her brave the low temperatures. Nicole and Lewis were also pictured greeting the protagonist of the film, Hollywood star Tom. The trio later posed for pictures together and looked as if they have known each other for years.

The pair's show of unity comes after they rekindled their romance earlier this year following a brief break-up. They split up last November after four years together, blaming the strain of barely seeing each other due to hectic schedules.

The break-up was said to have affected Lewis considerably, and this, combined with poor results and incidents on the track meant the 26-year-old cut a forlorn figure for a number of weeks. Speaking publicly just days after their separation Lewis said: "It's very early days and we still have very strong feelings for one another. I still love her very much. So, who knows? Maybe we will be together in the future." Thankfully, his prediction turned out to be accurate. Nicole's high spirits on Monday night were due to the fact that she was crowned the winning judge of X Factor on Sunday, after her act James Arthur came top in this year's competition. James received 54 percent of the public vote and was shocked when Dermot declared him the winner in front of a 10,000-strong audience at Manchester Central.Middlesbrough-born James walks away from the talent show with a recording contract and will now release his winner's single, a rendition of Impossible by Barbadian singer Shontelle, in a bid to top the charts with a Christmas number one.
