Is there anything more magical than a baby's first Christmas? Jack Osbourne and his wife Lisa certainly seem to be enjoying their first festive season with their adorable baby daughter Pearl. It was hard to tell who was having the most fun – mum and dad, or their seven-month-old. Lisa shared pictures of the momentous family occasion on Twitter. In one, the little girl even sits on Santa's knee alone, smiling. Lisa wrote in the caption accompanying the snap: "Yesterday, Pearl met Santa for the first time. She wasn't totally stoked on him but she managed to squeeze out a smirk for the camera....What a doll! Xo Lisa O."
The cute tot was suitably dressed for her first Christmas milestone, in a red skirt and tights, a fluffy white top and a knitted beanie hat. She had on some tiny tartan-print shoes that matched Daddy's tartan shirt perfectly. Jack looked every inch the proud father as he carried his little girl through the Beverly Hills Centre in Los Angeles. Much has changed for Ozzy Osbourne's son since the last December 25, when he was still a bachelor. In the past 12 months, his life has been transformed – he's now a loving husband to Lisa and doting daddy to little Pearl.
The sweet baby was born in April, just under a year after her parents first met. They had been dating for three months when Lisa found out she was pregnant, and Jack admitted it was a bit of a shock. "I think I responded with 'That's interesting'," he told HELLO! of the moment Lisa broke it to him. "What do you say? If we'd been trying for two years, of course, you'd be like 'Awesome!' But we met in May and found out in August.
But when he got his head around the idea of fatherhood the 25-year-old was thrilled and was overcome with emotion when his daughter made her entrance. "People say when you have a kid it’s like instant love, but unless you've experienced it, it's impossible to comprehend," he told us.
The moment I saw her I felt more love than I'd ever felt for anything. It was the weirdest, most overwhelming thing. Jack wed the mother of his child in October in Hawaii. The couple and their baby girl were joined by Jack's parents Sharon and Ozzy and his sister Kelly for an intimate and romantic ceremony, with the pictures appearing exclusively in HELLO! magazine. Aside from the happiness of starting a family, Jack had some devastating, life-changing news to deal with. Just three weeks after Pearl made her entrance, there was a shock for the Osbourne clan when he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
Jack told HELLO! at the time: "While I was waiting for the final results, I got really, really angry. Then I got really sad for about two days, and after that, I realised: 'Being angry and upset is not going to do anything at this point, if anything it's only going to make it worse… Adapt and overcome is my new motto."
