Sienna Miller shows off baby Marlowe during a winter stroll in London

December 18, 2012

Since the birth of her first child in July, Sienna Miller has been keeping baby Marlowe away from the cameras, but the actress finally gave a little glimpse of her daughter while strolling through the streets of London on Monday. The 30-year-old braved the freezing temperatures with an oversized red coat and furry winter boots. Meanwhile, five-month-old Marlowe wore a cosy white baby growl and a grey hat.

The little one, who clearly takes after her father Tom Sturridge, was snapped happily in her mother's arms.

Speaking to Harper's Bazaar in the January issue, Sienna reveals that giving birth to her daughter has changed her life more than she ever thought. "My body's a completely different thing to me, it's not mine – all the attachment to its flaws or any aesthetic attachment is gone," she says. "You understand what breasts are for, and I have such enormous respect for my body because of what it can do. "Unlike many other celebrity parents, the new mum insists she hasn't hired any extra help for the baby. "It's just been the three of us, which was amazing, and exhausting. We are going to get a nanny, but it felt important to first learn for myself who I was as a parent. "She also told the Radio Times her life is "much better" now. "My life is really different, it's much better. People told me not to have kids, but I think motherhood's got a bad rep – I don't feel compromised. In fact, I don't want to be anywhere else except with her. "Since welcoming her daughter, Sienna has slowly been returning to work. In October she made her post-baby comeback at the Hamptons Film Festival in a floor-length white dress with cape and cuffs.

Sienna picked the white hot ensemble for a reception honouring Richard Gere In November, she starred in a short film in honour of Matthew Williamson, who was celebrating 15 years of an extremely successful career as a fashion designer. Boho queen Sienna has long been a muse to Matthew – whose boho-inspired designs often reflect her personal style.
