Busy B: Beyonce set to add Brit Awards date to her hectic schedule

As excitement gathers pace ahead of this year's Brit Awards, there are whispers that pop powerhouse Beyonce Knowles will perform alongside the cream of UK music talent. If the Halo singer does take to the stage, she will head a stellar line up which already includes One Direction, Emeli Sandé, Robbie Williams and Muse.

Fans will be lucky to see Beyonce, whose schedule for 2013 is packed full. Before touching down on British soil for the February 20 ceremony, the mum-of-one will have already warmed up at Barack Obama's inauguration and the iconic American Super Bowl on February 3. Beyoncé's group Destiny's Child, where the pop queen cut her teeth, recently announced their comeback news on her website. "I am so proud to announce the first original Destiny’s Child music in eight years," the star said. Their compilation album, which features the best love songs from Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, will herald the release of new single Nuclear. And it's not just the music industry being dominated by Ms Knowles. The 31-year-old is also set to make her directorial debut, airing an intimate documentary which will provide fans with an insight into the her love, life and work. Beyonce's personal voyage, to be shown by HBO on February 16, will see her discuss her family's influence on her stellar career, and will document her return to the stage after giving birth to baby Blue Ivy.  Mrs Jay-Z's whirlwind start to 2013 shows how well the Crazy In Love songstress is managing work and home commitments. When she and her husband welcomed their daughter a year ago, the new parents described the birth as "emotional and extremely peaceful" and "the best experience of both of our lives".

The couple recently took a well-deserved family break with baby Blue in the Bahamas. Sharing an intimate moment with her fans on Tumblr, the star posted a photo of her tot paddling into the idyll's ocean as she held her doting mother's hand. With superstar parents constantly in-demand, Blue Ivy has family members lining up to take care of her. Beyonce's sister, Solange, revealed to an American magainze that "Blue comes over, I babysit" adding that her own son, Julez, is often looked after by his famous aunty in return. "Beyonce takes Julez sometimes for the weekend" Solange added. "Blue and Julez are going to grow up more like sister and brother than cousins."
