Pregnant Peaches Geldof bumps along in paradise on her belated honeymoon

January 24, 2013

Peaches Geldof is enjoying a belated tropical honeymoon with husband Thomas Cohen, four months after the vintage wedding they shared exclusively with HELLO!. And with most of her followers back in the UK feeling the January chill, the mum-of-one shared her snaps to warm up the Twittersphere. Highlights from the holiday album show the 23-year-old and her new husband cuddling under the clear blue skies of an unnamed location. Thomas also pictures his wife sipping some exotic nectar from a coconut shell.

The couple are parents to nine-month-old Astala, who was being cared for by relatives as his folks – and unborn brother, who will be named Phaedra – finally made their honeymoon a reality. Peches missed her baby, though, and was seen kissing a picture with her young son's face on it. "Me at the airport yesterday missing Grublet who is staying at his grandma and grandpa Cohens for the few days we are here! Going to facetime (video chat) with him tonight. Miss him loads", the accompanying caption read. Ms Geldof's pregnancy – thought to be around the five month mark – is clearly suiting her, and Peaches displayed her burgeoning bump in a form-fitting silver dress.

She and Thomas are just now having their romantic holiday after their 2012 nuptials. The couple's unique country wedding, held at Sir Bob's characterful country home, Davington Priory in Kent, encapsulated Peaches' vision of "a country wedding meets Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream". It was full of quirky details – including the bride and groom's eight-month-old golden retriever puppy Parper wearing a flower garland and acting as ring bearer in the church. And the reception featured a blue-and-cream-iced wedding cake decorated with an array of edible pig characters depicting the story of their romance. Following the beautiful ceremony, which included Jewish customs and a traditional Hebrew wedding prayer, Sir Bob joked that it was a "relief" to see his daughter married off, adding: "It's a beautiful day, in all senses of the word. I am happy for them. I love seeing people in love".

In love the newlyweds certainly are. They started dating in December 2010, but had been friends for five years prior to that. Now, they are blissfully happy in their family unit, which will be complete when Phaedra is born in spring. Explaining the unique name in a recent interview with HELLO! Peaches said: "It's a name that comes from an ancient Greek play. But it also features in a song Tom and I both love called Some Velvet Morning by Lee Hazlewood". She also revealed that finding out she was pregnant again so soon was "quite a shock", but added: "Tom was so happy. He loves being a dad so much and is brilliant with Astala, who totally adores him, so he was over the moon. I, on the other hand, did have a momentary panic and go, 'Oh my God, we're going to have a one-year-old and a one-month-old! How will we cope?'

"But Tom was so supportive and relaxed, it banished my doubts and I started imagining the two boys growing up together as the best of friends. It will be great for Astala to have Phaedra to play with."
