Former Atomic Kitten Jenny Frost has announced the arrival of her twins. The star welcomed girls Blake and Nico into the world on Sunday evening after going into labour earlier that day. Although the delightful duo made an early appearance for the star, she confirmed all was well on Twitter on Thursday morning. Posting a picture of the girls' entwined feet, the singer said: "Good morning, the girls are here… They are perfect. Tiny but perfect!"
Jenny, who has a five-year-old son Caspar from a previous relationship, said that she is thrilled to "complete" her family with Spanish super diving instructor Vicente Juan Spiteri, whom she married in Ibiza in 2011. The star wrote on her NHS blog: "I'm excited about having two little girls to complete our family”. Using Twitter to speak about her pregnancy experiences, the singer has shared an array of photos during her wait to become a mum for the second, and third, time over.
Pointing to her bump, the star also revealed that she hated people touching her tummy, and gave an alternative view of pregnancy. "The fact that my belly button has popped out fills me with fear and loathing. I hate it. It actually makes me feel really nauseous. So as you can imagine, I can't touch it myself – let alone anyone else. But when you're pregnant, people think it's ok to rub your tummy. It's not! I am not a buddha." However, husband and first-time father Vicente has found the TV presenter's appearance very appealing. Speaking during a pregnancy photo shoot, the star said: "Being pregnant is a time when some women can feel insecure, but Vinnie has kept me feeling great about myself. Even though I had my bump on show for this photo shoot, I felt quite sexy, rather than mumsy.
"I've got a nice big belly, but I've not put on too much weight elsewhere apart from my bum, which I quite like. I'd like to say I've been watching what I eat, but I've felt so poorly with morning sickness, I've given in to what my body demands and that's usually chips and gravy!"
