The Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes and her JLS star husband Marvin are set to become parents for the first time in 2013. And like any young couple they're keen to be prepared for their firstborn – in every way. The singers were spotted stocking up on baby items for their unborn on Monday, and the trip to the shops clearly brought the prospect of having a child sharply into focus. Rochelle was beaming as she browsed through the store, looking at toys and prams. And her husband was also deeply engrossed in the task, and was spotted gathering up some cute romper suits.
At the end of their trip the pair left laden with bags, having checked at least a few items off their 'to do' list. Pop star Rochelle also proudly displayed her burgeoning bump, keeping up the high standard of maternity fashion that she has set so far. In late November, The Saturdays sweetheart announced her happy news on Twitter, saying she and Marvin's child, due in the middle of this year, was "the best early Christmas present we could have asked for". Marvin also revealed the news to fans via his Twitter account: "Rochelle and I are SOOOOO excited to tell everyone that we are expecting our first baby!!! It's absolutely amazing! Baby is due middle of next year and all is great!! We want to say thank you to everyone for their love and support... it means so much to us!! We are over the moon! Love Marv x."
The pregnancy is the latest happy chapter in their relationship after the singers tied the knot at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, with guests including X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos, One Direction's Harry Styles and HELLO! Magazine – the only publication invited to capture the day. Despite preparing to become a mum, Rochelle and her colleagues - Una Healy, Vanessa White, Frankie Sandford and Mollie King – recently landed Stateside to launch their their new album and debut US single What About Us. Hers is the second big baby news in the glamorous pop quintet, after Una Healy gave birth to Aoife, her daughter with England rugby player Ben Foden, in March 2012.
