Penelope Cruz puts her talents to the test for music video

January 30, 2013

Penelope Cruz has proven that there is no end to her talent by singing a duet with Latin Grammy award-winner Miguel Bosé. The film star has showcased her vocal range on a track with the Spanish artist, entitled Decirnos Adiós - or in English, Say Goodbye.

Featuring in a black and white video for the track, the artist, actress and model is seen looking forlorn as she waits by a rainy window for her estranged partner. Sultry in a black and white bustier and smoky eyeliner, Penelope then proceeds to pace up and down her room waiting for a call from her beau, whilst Miguel mirrors her actions in a hotel suite. Despite the appearance of a melancholy romance, Penelope and Miguel share a strong family connection. The actresses' younger brother, Eduardo Cruz, composed the song in hand, giving the star the perfect opportunity to pitch in. Speaking about his chance to record a track with Cruz, Bosé told Spanish wire service EFE that Penelope "sings fabulously".

He said: "Penelope sings fabulously and, above all, she has a lot of personality in her voice and enjoys it a lot, something that you can't say about everyone." However, the multi-tasker has already moved onto her next challenge. The 38-year-old was spotted promoting her latest film, Twice Born, in Madrid on Thursday. Donning a vivid orange Loewe trench coat for the photo call, the star took the opportunity to promote another one of her projects.

The 38-year-old is acting as a face of the luxury Spanish clothing brand which she said she "grew up admiring". "You can see the work, love and dedication in every piece," said the star. "Loewe is an international brand proud of its Spanish roots with a rich history behind. Its collections are made by Spanish master artisans and I have always admired their work. I feel fortunate to be a part of this project."
