Selena Gomez 'having a lot of fun' after Justin Bieber split

January 31, 2013

Following her split from Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez has revealed she's doing "really good" and "having a lot of fun". The former Wizards Of Waverly Place actress recently broke up with the Baby pop sensation after dating on and off for nearly two years. But she certainly isn't moping around. "I'm good. I'm really good. I've been recording, having a lot of fun with my girlfriends, having a good time," she told E! Online.

Selena, who revealed she has already recorded 16 songs for her next album, sparked speculation that she could address her romance with Justin in a future hit, after teasing: "I'm having a lot of fun expressing everything that I'm feeling." She added: "I've been telling people I'm definitely a little bit more sassy now. I'm a little bit more mouthy. "Former boyfriend Justin recently released an acoustic album that features three new tracks including a heartbreak ballad thought to be about Selena. The song, titled Nothing Like Us, is the bonus track on his new album Believe Acoustic and was written by the star himself. "I write all the time in the studio," he told Billboard magazine. "When I recorded it, I think the album was done. I want people to hear what's coming from my heart, and this is definitely the most that I've been sharing what I'm actually feeling."

Selena is looking forward to fans seeing her more mature side in Spring Breakers, the independent movie co-starring James Franco and Vanessa Hudgens."I think people are used to seeing me in a certain way. I think it will be a little shocking for people but in a good way," she said. "The movie as a whole is a lot to take in, and I've definitely expressed that to my younger fans. The girls are older so they can experience things and have experienced a lot more than I have, so it was new for me. But I had a good time," she added.
