'Happy birthday my Rosie Mc': Coleen Rooney pays loving Twitter tribute to late sister

Coleen Rooney has shared a touching tribute to her little sister on what would have been her 15th birthday. The pregnant wife of footballer Wayne, took to Twitter to remember Rosie McLoughlin who would have celebrated her birthday on Saturday.The little girl tragically lost her battle with brain disorder Rett Syndrome on January 5.

Coleen shared a beautiful intimate snap taken on her wedding day in 2008 of her and Rosie, accompanied with a message that read, "Happy birthday to the most special girl in the world! Our Rosie. "Love you so much and miss you even more xx"The 26-year-old star had her friends on hand to help support her through the difficult weekend. Coleen headed out on her first evening out since losing Rosie, telling fans, "Had a brilliant night out with my best friends!"Have not done anything but laugh. Just what I needed. "Coleen's husband Wayne has also paid tribute to little Rosie since her passing. Ten days after her tragic death, he scored the winning goal for Manchester United against West Ham in the FA cup and blew a kiss and raised his arms up in the air in honour of his sister-in-law.

He and his wife also took out a near full-page advert in a local Liverpool newspaper so the family could continue to honour the youngster.

In his personal message to Rosie, Wayne wrote, "I will miss you so much. I will never forget the way you laughed and those big beautiful eyes. You are an inspiration to me. "God has called for you, so we have to let you go, so take your eyes and that big smile and make heaven glow. "Heartbroken Coleen, who rushed back from a family holiday with her son to be with Rosie before she died, wrote, "I can't get my head around that my special little sister has gone… "An angel sent to our family, a sister I never thought I would ever have. Our house is never going to be the same without you. Love you so much Rosie Mc. "There was also a message from the couple's son Kai to his "special auntie"."I am going to miss you so much but you will always have a big place in my heart and in my mind," it read. "Days out with Nanny and Grandad aren't going to be as special coz you're not going to be with us. I can't wait to tell my little brother all about you. "Rosie was adopted by Coleen's parents Colette and Tony as a baby.

A statement issued on behalf of the family at the time read, "We are heartbroken, but we are blessed to have had her in our lives. "We shall cherish forever the memories we have shared and the love she showed us each and every day."
