On the back of their musical success, British boyband The Wanted have landed their own US reality show. Following the likes of UK groups One Direction and The Saturdays, Siva, Jay, Max, Nathan and Tom are now trying to crack the stateside market. The quintet have signed a deal to live in a shared house in California's Hollywood Hills and have cameras follow them for a programme bosses say will be full of "music, bromance and superstardom."
But with the show also set to feature Siva's girlfriend Nareesha McCaffery and Tom's leading lady Kelsey Hardwick, romance will also be in the air. With Nareesha and Kelsey on board, fans of the band will also hope to see Nathan's love interest Dionne Bromfield complete the cast. Nathan set the rumour mill turning when he was pictured on holiday with soul singer Dionne, whose godmother is the late Amy Winehouse.
The pair were enjoying each other's company in the Caribbean Sea off the idyllic island of St Vincent. Dionne, 17, has been linked to 19-year-old Nathan before. The two got close at a concert last July, although they have yet to officially confirm their relationship.
The reality show, provisionally called The Wanted Life, is set to be upfront and honest, in keeping with the band's image. "We've always tried to show who we are" said Max, "We haven't hid much." The boys' show is in good hands as it will be screened on E!, the channel responsible for Chasing The Saturdays. News that the programme will not hit US screens until June has not stopped fans tweeting their excitement and the show's hashtag, #TheWantedOnE, was soon trending worldwide.
