Rita Ora sent her female fans' heart racing on Thursday night as she posted a picture of her and One Direction's Liam Payne, 19, at the X Factor concert at the O2 Arena in London. "Went to watch X factor tonight at the 02 and look who I found! Liam so good to see ya buddy!" the 22-year-old singer tweeted.Rita took a break from her Radioactive tour, which wraps up on February 9th, to watch the final seven stars of this year's talent show perform on the 2013 Live Tour.
The star and Liam were in hand to cheer on contestants James Arthur, Ella Henderson, Jahmene Douglas, Rylan Clark, Christopher Maloney and groups Union J and District3.During last year's edition Rita was a guest panelist and also performed on the show's final, which saw James Arthur become the winner. And now she has revealed she was asked to return for the upcoming series as a judge. The singer's comments, to the Daily Mirror, fuelled speculation that one of the current line-up of Louis Walsh, Tulisa Contostavlos, Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger will leave the ITV show.
"There were talks," the star was quoted as saying about discussions which apparently took place in the past few months. "But if I were to take on that role it would have to be at a point when I could give it my full attention. "I have so much to accomplish first and it's kind of a full-time job being on X Factor. It's not like a nine to five. It's constant, for months. "On Wednesday the "How We Do (Party)" songstress cemented her superstar status as she performed to a sell-out crowd at London's Shepherds Bush Empire. The blonde star celebrated her first sold out gig in London at Mahiki after tweeting: "I will never forget this day. London show day 1. I can't believe this. WOW."The popstar kicked off her UK tour in style earlier this week, clad in showstopping designs that the Emilio Pucci had fashioned for her – including a futuristic, silver catsuit that she later paired with a full white Georgian skirt to finish the show.
The fashion house has created a number of looks for the singer, and has released the original sketches that show the three ensembles in detail. Aside from the futuristic catsuit that she wore on her opening night, there is a gold jumpsuit in the same style. And Rita's signature 'urban glamour' came through in a military jumpsuit featuring leopard print and cargo pockets. According to an official statement, the brand said that Peter worked with Rita to "create costumes that perfectly echo her unique take on urban glamour."
